International Music Producer Hires Singers from Fiverr

Moran Kariv has been a composer, music producer, and professional DJ for more than 25 years. Based in Israel, he produces music and remixes for artists in places like Berlin, Ibiza, New York and many more.

Because of my love of creation, I recently got into the film and video industry, creating and filming video clips of my music productions. I compose and write songs for international audiences, so sometimes I need singers with a certain style, which may vary from a Latin beat, to an R and B groove, to a Britpop vibe. I can’t find all of these styles locally, so Fiverr® gives me the perfect platform for searching for different artists, trying different versions, and delivering the best product I can. The low cost and the option for a retake make it an almost risk-free deal for me as a producer!

As a composer who is definitely not a singer, I tend to purchase Fiverr Gigs® mostly from singers. I like the fact that on Fiverr I can listen to samples on the seller’s Gig page, contact the seller and revisit the work if I need a modification. Some of the artists are talented beginners, and some are very professional. For me, it’s not a question of how many Gigs someone has sold in the past, but whether he or she is the best fit for a particular song I am producing. Fiverr gives me so many options, so the value is enormous!

In the past, I was very limited by the local talent and styles, so I could not create as many styles and genres as I can today. Fiverr also saves me a lot of my time, studio hours, equipment costs and much more. I don’t even want to think about how much plane tickets, hotels, etc., would have cost for me to travel all the way to Australia to record our lead singer, Shaun Holton – known on Fiverr as thirtyscndsongs, who sang for us on “Bring Home the Sun”!
