Today we’d like to introduce you to Slava, head of business intelligence here at Fiverr®. Business intelligence (or BI) is based on analyzing data to help business managers see what has happened, what is happening, and what will likely happen.
Most companies today use BI to improve how they operate, and Fiverr makes some BI capabilities available to members via the Sales Analytics page. And just so you know, Slava is one of the really smart people in our office and loves jazz and the movie Office Space.
Who is Slava?
I’m a father of three beautiful children, a girl and two boys. I live in a small town and enjoy the country atmosphere. In my free time, which I don’t have much of these days, I like to go fishing or do some work in my garden.
I joined Fiverr almost three years ago. I’d heard about it six months earlier when one of my colleagues was preparing a presentation and wanted to add some visual effects. He told me he found a site with interesting services starting at $5 and bought a Gig® that provided a Star Wars style opening for the start of the presentation. He was very happy with it, and the name of the company stuck in my head.
When I started working for Fiverr, the company was a small group of people, and it has been pretty amazing to watch the extraordinary growth. I really like the home atmosphere in our main office. There are so many smart people around me, and everyone is ready to help anytime someone needs it.
Since the beginning, I have also been inspired by the feeling that I’m helping to create something that other people really need. I am literally helping people change their lives and the way they work and think about their careers.
I’m also a proud Fiverr seller. I provide help with analytics and teach buyers to swear in Russian. My favorite experience as a seller is the reaction of satisfied buyers when the job is done. I receive many comments like this one: “Amazingly quick, and good information.” It really makes my day.
Favorite Gigs
I usually buy more business-related Gigs like presentation visuals, photo editing, and charity Gigs. But my favorite Gig is the cute cartoon gift I bought for my wife’s birthday. The seller, Reveur, was awesome and delivered the high-res picture in just one week. I printed it and created a big painting on canvas. My wife loved this present and couldn’t believe how little it cost.
Message for the Community:
I think the Fiverr Community rocks. I always see great comments on how to improve our product, and we take this input very seriously as we work on updates and new features.
