Today we’d like to introduce you to Noga , one of our product managers who is continually working hard to make Fiverr® a better experience. Her favorite movie is “Sleepless in Seattle,” and her favorite band is Muse. She’s been married for a year and a half.
Who is Noga?
I studied industrial engineering in school, and Fiverr was my first job after graduation. Now I’ve been here for two and a half years. I started out as a project manager in the research and development department. My job was to support the development team and make sure tasks were aligned and got done. I moved to the product team about a year later, and while I still support the development team with task management, I’m also involved in feature planning and other tasks to help make Fiverr better.
I really love working on the product because it gives me a chance to take an idea and make it reality. Also, as a product manager, I have a chance to interact with other departments, which gives me a chance to continue growing and learning. My favorite project so far is the shopping cart feature which allows users to save the Gigs® they want while shopping and then easily ordering once they’ve found everything they need.
Fiverr is a wonderful place to work. It’s a flexible environment, and I really like the people I work with. They bring a special kind of craziness to the office, and I love it. I believe in the vision of helping people do what they love doing and make money from it, which is what Fiverr has let me do from within!
From mid-September to late October, I was able to travel around South America, which had been a dream of mine for a very long time. I’m finally able to do it and am so grateful to be working at an organization that is flexible enough to accommodate me!
Favorite Gigs
Most of the Gigs I’ve purchased have been gifts for friends and family. I’ve also bought some Gigs just for me. My favorite is a Gig for my parents’ anniversary. It was a gift from me and my brother and sister. It was a professional quality photo of a phrase using Scrabble tiles. I developed and framed it, and it’s now hanging on their bedroom wall.
I also bought custom pocket mirrors to hand out to my friends at my bachelorette party. They loved it, and I know some of them keep it in their hand bags all the time.
