Fiverr Update: Audio Gig Portfolio

We are happy to announce an update to our Audio Category Gig® portfolios. The Fiverr® community does some amazing work and this new addition will help to showcase work delivered as audio files.

For Sellers

Much like in other areas of the site, a seller’s work will be displayed, with your consent of course, to your portfolio. This will create a more robust Gig portfolio and a more honest account of all the work you’ve delivered while showing off the great talent and skills you possess.

For Buyers

This update will make it easier for you to hear work samples when purchasing audio Gigs. With all the talented artists offering a variety of styles, we hope this feature will make it easier for you to find the sound you are looking for.

Remember some of these tips to get selling.

Identify Your Niche: If you are having a hard time breaking into a crowded market, focus on a small, specific segment to build up your portfolio and clientele. Doing a good job in a niche market of the broader market you hope to expand into will give you the necessary experience when the time is right.

Be Clear: Your reputation is an important factor when seller’s are perusing Gigs, so don’t jeopardize that valuable asset by being vague about what is included in your audio Gig. Be as clear as possible about what you are offering, with some examples of basic audio Gigs in your portfolio.

Promote Yourself: Being a seller on Fiverr means you are a micro-entrepreneur. Come to terms with that and start using your social network and any other platforms you may have to promote yourself. Your new audio gigs may need a little help getting started, so don’t just sit back and wait for buyers to come to you, get out there and bootstrap.
