Fiverr Community Supports the Epilepsy Foundation Netathon

Did you know that 65 million people around the world suffer from epilepsy? To raise money for this cause, the Epilepsy Foundation is putting together their first ever “Talk About It for Epilepsy!” Netathon, presented by Sunovion.

Broadcasting from Hollywood, the “Netathon” (telethon via internet) will feature a variety of stars and acts from comedy, music and everything in between, who have all come together to help the organization in their mission.

When the Epilepsy Foundation approached us to produce creative assets for the Netathon, we were happy to get involved. We’ve placed orders from some of or talented sellers including logo_business, uniqufivex, madmoo and MrExplainer, to provide a variety of digital materials ranging from event logos, to bumpers, to segment titles.

The 12 hour event will stream live on June 27th and begin at noon PST at epilepsy.com/netathon.

The event will be hosted by Heroes actor Greg Grunberg, and Pawn Stars’ own Rick Harrison. These two stars are driven by their personal experiences with epilepsy to help the foundation in their work to stop seizures.

Grunberg, whose eldest son suffers from epilepsy and Harrison, who himself experienced seizures into adulthood, know firsthand the devastating effects they can have and the importance of pursuing research and education for the disorder. With nearly 3 million people in the US alone suffering from epilepsy, and 1/3rd of those living with uncontrollable seizures because no treatment currently available can help them, this mission is urgent and essential.

If you would like to help the Epilepsy Foundation improve access to treatments, create more education, and fund research, you can make a donation here.
