A September 2014 study notes that 83 percent of Women’s Wear Daily’s top fashion brands have mobile-optimized website. The study names The North Face, Tiffany & Co., Pink, and Victoria’s Secret as fashion brands who take advantage of all mobile has to offer, while Candie’s, Casio, and Joe Boxer are brands who are doing little to nothing on mobile.
The bottom line is consumers want web experiences that are beautiful and work well with their preferred device. Seventy-two percent of consumers “expect” brands to have a mobile-friendly site, even though many of them (96 percent) had visited a site that wasn’t optimized for their phone or tablet.
