On Fiverr®, your level status is more than just a badge of honor. As you move up through the levels, you’ll unlock new tools that make selling on Fiverr even easier.
This guide will help you understand the features you’ll have access to so you can hit the ground running the moment they’re unlocked.
New Sellers
New sellers have access to:
- Up to 4 orders in 1 transaction
- Extra Fast Delivery
As a new seller, your main priority should be locking down your most basic offering: your $5 Gig®. Your $5 Gig gives you a chance to test the waters and find out what works for you. Make it something buyers are looking for, but be sure you don’t over-promise — that’s what your Gig Extras, Multiples, and Extra Fast Delivery is for!
When you’re fine-tuning the details of your $5 Gig, give some thought to the Extras you’ll eventually offer. If you come up with your business model and pricing scheme at the start, you’ll be well equipped to scale your business as you move through the levels.
Your $5 Gig should offer:
- Good value: It has to be able to stand on its own
- A foundation: It should be something reasonably simple that you can build upon with Multiples and Gig Extras. Use your $5 Gig to give buyers a taste of your talent and let your Extras do the rest.
- A reasonable timeframe: Decide how much time it’ll take you to finish a job, keeping in mind that you may have multiple orders on the go at once, and base your delivery time on that. Don’t forget to offer Extra Fast Delivery for rush and high priority orders.
Level 1
Level 1 sellers have access to:
- Up to 8 orders in 1 transaction
- Extra Fast Delivery
- 2X Gig Extras ($5, $10, and $20)
Now that you can offer Gig Extras, you can start building out your offerings into a more substantial package. Your Gig Extras should offer:
- Expanded value: They should improve on your base offering.
- More labor-intense services: Because the prices are higher, you can spend more time and effort on your extras. For example, writers can use Gig Extras to up the word count of an article or allow for more research time, while musicians can offer higher quality audio files or longer recordings.
- Opportunities to upsell: Choose Extras that make your overall Gig that much more appealing.
Level 2
Level 2 sellers have access to:
- Up to 12 orders in 1 transaction
- Extra Fast Delivery
- 3X Gig Extras ($5, $10, $20, and $40)
When you hit Level 2, you’ll be able to combine Multiples and Gig Extras so you can easily take on bulk orders and more complex projects. At this point, you might want to encourage buyers to contact you before placing an order so you can work together to design a project that meets their specifications.
Top Rated Sellers
Top Rated Sellers have access to:
- Up to 20 orders in 1 transaction
- Extra Fast Delivery
- 4X Gig Extras ($5, $10, $20, $40, and $100)
As a Top Rated Seller, you can now charge up to $100 for your Gig Extras. Struggling to come up with something you can sell for $100? Here are a few ideas:
- Offer a discount rate for those who buy in bulk. For example, if you’re a writer who usually charges $5 for 250 words, you might offer 6000 words for $100.
- Offer a high value complementary service. For example, if you sing a few lines of backing vocals for your $5 Gig, consider offering a combination of singing and custom songwriting for your $100 Extra.
- Offer extremely detailed custom work. For example, if you normally design basic business cards with text logos, you might use your $100 Extra for creating completely custom graphic logos.
