Last week, Fiverr® headed to Wall Street in New York City to attend the Next Web Conference. Our goal? To introduce the conference’s 800 attendees — including some of the biggest players in the worlds of tech, business, and the Internet — to Fiverr and the Gig® Economy.
Fiverr’s Chief Revenue Officer David Manela was one of 39 speakers at the action-packed one-day conference. He spoke on a panel about the sharing economy, the value of online marketplaces, and how Fiverr fits into that space.
While we were there, we wanted to showcase the diverse range of talent that exists on Fiverr and show everyone at the conference what the incredible sellers on Fiverr can do. So, we enlisted 10 artists to create custom cartoon portraits of all 39 speakers at the Next Web Conference. Each portrait was framed and displayed (along with the name of the subject and the creator) on a Wall of Fame for all to see. The portraits were a hit and some of the speakers even took their portraits home as they left.
We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to speak at this year’s Next Web Conference. A very special thanks goes out to sellers denikasapovic, hironan, jamessetaro, jazcreative, mousetivity, photoshops, portraitcartoon, renatoautore, rinartdy17, and rocket_ruzzel for their awesome work on the portraits.
