Gig Economy News: All About Portable Benefits

Being able to work when, where, and how you want is both the blessing and the curse of the Gig economy. Virginia Senator Marc Warner proposed the first-ever piece of national legislation aimed to provide a safety net for on-demand and other non-traditional workers without traditional benefits (i.e. paid sick days or a retirement plan).
