While “Back to the Future” may have promised us hoverboards by now, it’s tough not to be pretty happy with how far technology has taken us. After all, the Fiverr community depends on a broad digital ecosystem to connect with people across the world. As consumers ourselves, it’s easy to see our growing dependence on the Internet to help find services and businesses in our communities.
From bakers to accountants, most businesses that trade in physical goods and services still require a strong web presence to be found and engage with current or would-be customers. According to the Score Association of the 28 million small businesses in the U.S., only 51 percent have websites and of the ones that do, 70 percent provide no call-to-action to encourage spending.
