We’re excited to roll out a new product offering that will help make buying Gigs® easier and help sellers further grow their services by moving beyond the $5 starting price. Introducing, Gig Packages.
Gig Packages are a tool that allows you to offer your service (Gig) in different formats and to price your services beyond $5. For instance, if you’re a logo designer, you probably have a set price that dictates how much you charge for a logo. But you also probably have customers who want to see different versions, or want you to package the logo in different formats that can be used everywhere from their business stationary to their website.
Our new Gig Package is designed to make services offered in Gigs transparent for both the buyer and the seller. For example, If you’re a logo designer, you can have a basic rate for your logo design, but now you can add higher priced packages offering multiple rounds of revisions, different logo options, fast turnaround times, and other popular requests that you get from your buyers. This means no more explaining to a potential customer why you need to charge them extra for additional creative explorations or a super fast turnaround.
We will be slowly rolling out this feature to select subcategories. Currently, Gig Packages are available in the the book covers and packaging subcategory. Other subcategories will be rolling out in the next few weeks. To get a notification for when it’s available in your subcategory, visit the Gig Packages landing page here. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a notification when it will be available in your subcategory.
Once available, you can activate Packages from the Create a Gig page. To make sure you’re offering your best Gig, think about the things you’re asked to customize most often and use those to build offerings that earn you more money and make your customer feel like they’re getting their money’s worth.
