For the month of June we’re celebrating Music Month with an exciting contest that could end with you on an all expenses paid trip to Nashville!
What is it?
The Big Hook contest is a month-long challenge that invites amateur musicians to perform and submit an original 30-second song hook.
A grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Nashville to record your demo. A a songwriter boot camp including: mentoring sessions with industry professionals, co-writing sessions with hand-picked songwriters, studio time, consideration for representation from Riptide Music Group for television and film placement, and membership in a performing rights organization of his or her choice.
Second and third place winners will receive cash prizes and Fiverr credits.
YouTube stars Anthony Vincent (of “10 Second Songs” fame), Hannah Trigwell, and Andrew Huang will be the judges, and, American Songwriter magazine will announce the winner on July 1, 2015.
