What is My Contacts?
My Contacts is an analytical tool for sellers to quickly review their buyer history. It brings past orders and conversations together in one place, providing a bird’s eye view of the buyers with whom sellers have communicated. It allows sellers to immediately understand who their most significant buyers are so that they can revisit meaningful contacts and maintain relationships with buyers who already know them and their work.
My Contacts is also useful for buyers with an extensive order history to identify and reconnect with their favorite sellers.
How to use the Fiverr Contacts Page
You can locate My Contacts on the dropdown underneath your username on the Fiverr homepage:
There are 2 ways to view My Contacts: by Buyer or Seller. The My Buyers view shows buyers who have purchased gigs from you.
This view shows Buyer Name, Completed Orders, Amount Spent, and Last Orders. The page can be sorted by number of orders, amount, and the date of last order.
If a seller needs a reminder of what the last conversation with the buyer was, clicking the buyer’s name on the My Contacts page will pull up the conversation and order history between buyers and sellers so that sellers can review their previous interactions.
The My Sellers view is for buyers who want to see a comprehensive list of sellers from whom they have purchased Gigs.
Making the most of My Contacts
So, how can sellers use My Contacts to take an active role in growing their business?
Sellers can use the page to re-familiarize themselves with the buyers that they can reach out to and initiate new business opportunities. The tool allows 2 ways for sellers to reconnect with past buyers, by either clicking “Message” or “Send an Offer”.
What’s the right way to contact an previous buyer? There are a few reasons:
- Do you have a new Gig that will interest the buyer?
- Do you want to let the buyer know that you are available to take on any upcoming assignments they might have?
- Do you just want to say hi?
